Stewart House

At Stewart House, we are privileged to share a common purpose with ASCA. Both organisations believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and that schools are central to supporting the health, well-being, and educational outcomes of vulnerable young people.

For 95 years, Stewart House has provided a unique health and wellbeing program for children attending NSW and ACT public schools who are experiencing disadvantage, adversity or challenges beyond their control. Through a restorative 12-day stay, children receive healthcare assessments, emotional wellbeing support, nutritious meals, opportunities for recreation and learning, and the chance to simply enjoy being children. The experience is designed to build confidence, improve wellbeing and help children return to school with a positive outlook for a brighter future.

We are deeply grateful for ASCA's enduring commitment to the Stewart House program. As a Gold Sponsor, ASCA has generously contributed funding each year for many years, helping ensure that children referred by their schools can access this life-changing experience. This remarkable consistency reflects a genuine belief in the power of education, wellbeing and community to change lives.

ASCA's support reaches well beyond financial assistance. Together, we are strengthening the network of care that surrounds children in NSW public schools and helping ensure that those facing hardship are given the opportunity to be healthy, confident and ready to learn. We are proud to stand alongside an organisation whose values so closely align with our own and thank ASCA for its extraordinary generosity and unwavering commitment to making a lasting difference for children and families.

On behalf of the children, families and school communities we serve, thank you to everyone at ASCA for your trust, generosity and steadfast partnership. Together, we are helping children flourish and ensuring that support reaches those who need it most.
