ASCA Supported Charities

While ASCAs primary focus is discounts for schools and assisting schools maximise the efficiencies and profitability of their canteen, we also have a secondary focus which is to support charities who support the education and welfare of school aged students

As a not for profit organisation ASCA each year distributes to registered charities our surplus funds. The ASCA constitution sets out that the charities that we support must be registered charaties that provide direct and indirect support to facilitate the advancement of the education and welfare of school aged children.

Since our inception in 1979, ASCA has continually supported charities that assist school aged children with millions of dollars donated to these charities.

The major charities supported by ASCA are:

Stewart House is a charity, hospital and a school. It provides health care and short-term respite for children in need who are enrolled in Public Schools in NSW and the ACT. Children come to Stewart House because they need a break from their normal life. Children are given medical, dental and optometric assessment and if necessary treatment, there is no cost involved. School principals are the only ones who can refer students to Stewart House.
